Bio

I received my Diploma degree in 2006 from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), working on my thesis in the Laboratory of Photogrammetry. I received my BSc degree in Electronics Engineering in 2010 and my MSE degree in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics in 2012 from Sapienza University of Rome, working on my MSE thesis in ALCOR Lab.
In 2016 I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Sapienza University of Rome, working on Inverse Problem Theory and Computer Vision. From 2017 to 2020, I was Assistant Professor at Sapienza University focusing on computer vision for robotic perception. From 2022 to 2024 I waa MSCA Research Fellow at the School of Rural, Surveying and Geoinformatics Engineering (NTUA) working on intelligent scene sensing and analysis in underwater environments (iSEAu). Since 2024 I am Associate Professor of Computer Engineering at Universitas Mercatorum.
